Covering is a craft. Covering requires some fine motor skills, finger and handwork. Using scissors and measuring carefully are really important. Old people say "measure twice, cut once" but mistakes are cool too so long as we learn from them.
There are two kinds of covers in our library, a clear plastic and a stick plastic. The clear plastic cover is used to cover the thick covered books and the stick plastic is used to cover most of the fiction books. Now lets teach you people how to cover a book. Lets start with the clear plastic.

(>^-^)> Clear Plastic <(^-^<)
1. Make sure for plastic, you use a book with the paper sleeve, for only this technique can be used.XD
2.Cut the plastic for the book, including covering the the sleeve inside the book. Sticky tape the one side, making sure it covers over the whole sleeve.
3. Flip the book over and lift up the pages ever so slightly m(_ _)m only enough to insert your hand and pull the plastic inside and over the other
sleeve.
4. The cover should be tight around the book and in the middle. YAY!
5. On one side of the book for the plactic covering on the edges, cut diagonally towards the corner for both edges side.
6. Cut the plastics ~1 cm~ away from the >3< spine like you do from Stick Plastic.
7. Open up the book with the side that is lying on the table slightly and rest all the pages onto the back of your hand.
8. Cut the extra flaps of the already stickytaped plastic so that it is left as a trapezium shape.:D You can throw the extra bits away.
9. Pull the plastic flaps towards the middle MAKING SURE IT IS TIGHT and sticky tape it twice.
10. Repeat 5-9 for the other side.
11. You should be left with a fully plastic covered book with extra bits sticking out at both ends of the spine. :p Tuck those into the sleeves neatly.

Covering one

(>'-')> Stick Plastic: here is a set of very detailed, very pro and easy instructions! <('-'<)
  1. Cut the plastic. (It depends on the size of the book). Cut around 4cm away from the book.
  2. Place the spine of the book on the very edge of one side and fold the other side upto the edge of the spine. Do the same to the other side. you should now have a strip in the middle of the cover which is where the spine goes. If the book DOESN'T have a flat spine and it's folded and stapled. THEN you may fold the plastic in half ^^.
  3. Place the book snug fit in all the folds. take one side(preferably the back) and peel only enough to cover half the book and stick it (Book is still snug fit. DON'T REMOVE IT.
  4. You may now unfurl the plastic YAY!
  5. Smooth it out using a ruler so avoid AIR BUBBLES \(TT-TT)/ (Using fingers produce better results but is slower). Only do one side first to avoid sticking XD
  6. Open up the book and cut it diagonally on the sides of the flaps towards the corner, so it forms a traingliar shape with the base line bent er...looking. like a kite?? Then cut 1cm away from the spine on each side.
  7. DON'T THROW THE TRIANGLE SHAPE- KITE er... THINGY PLASTIC AWAY~. Now stick that...cut plastic at the corner of the book from inside. Feel free to adjust the shape.
  8. Pull a flap from any side by the middle and run your fingers along the edges, making sure there are no "edge- bubbles" >3<. Do the same with the other flaps.
  9. Repeat No. 5-8 for the other side :D
  10. At the end there should be a fully covered book EXCEPT there are pieces of plastic sticking out on both ends of the spine.
  11. Take out a pair of scissors and place the flat side of the blade onto the edge where they are and cut them off carefully. cutting. single. bit. out. Do it to both sides
